ISMX INSPECTION SPOUT MAGNET

DESCRIPTION

The design of the CETEC ISMX is intended to catch ferrous metal contaminants throughout various discharge points in mill plants. The placement of the ISMX is suitable for locations where travels through into a gravity spout, either as a finished product or as a feed to a grinding machine. These include roll stands, mixers, conveyors, hammer mills, sifters, and so on.

The ISMX Inspection Spout Magnet came to fruition with the thought of additional contamination prevention through single or multiple inspection points in a process line. Our magnets are made with the highest quality 52-Grade Rare Earth Opti-B™ balanced magnetic tube circuit design (Industrial Magnetics, Inc.). They feature a high-performance blend of 9,500 gauss and 16.7 lbs. of pull strength on a 1/2” ball.

OPERATION

To inspect the ISMX for foreign contaminants, an operator simply releases and removes the tension clamp holding the inspection cap to the flanged opening of the spout. Once carefully removed, the operator will then clean the magnetized bar into a contaminants container and reassemble.
